Sunday 15th of May will see the 3rd year of the Kilcornan Forest 8km run which has a mix of tarmac roads and good,clear forest tracks. Held in the scenic grounds of Kilcornan and the local Coillte forest in Clarenbridge this event has grown in popularity since its introduction.

There is an event for all the family with a kids 1km run starting at 12 noon and the option of a 5km run for older junior walkers or beginners. The main 8km run starts at 1pm with registration for all events opening at 11.30am in the leisure centre in Kilcornan.

There is ample parking, shower facilities and refreshments provided.

Cost is €10 for the senior event and €3 for kids and the 5km run. All proceeds going towards Brother of Charity.

Course is accurately measured and AAI Permit applied for.
