Athenry under-age runners will be strongly represented in the Galway teams that are bound for Hazelwood Co.Sligo this Saturday for the Connaught Cross Country Championships. We send our best wishes to all the young Galway athletes who will be running for their county.

Directions: Coming in the dual carriageway pass through 6 sets of traffic lights on the 7th set turn right and pass the Sligo IT go to the traffic lights and straight through continue on for about 1½miles until you come to a football pitch Calry Community Pitch. Do not ask directions for Calry as it is a different road you will be sent. This pitch is located in Hazelwood on the Dromahair Road.
