Magic Night in Dangan!

Magic Mile

The first Magic Mile held this this evening in Dangan was a big success.
Over 80 people toed the line in a series of 8 races, blessed with good weather and a dry track.

A big thank you to everyone who took part, and especially to the many volunteers who gave up their time to help out this evening.

We'll run the next Magic Mile meet in approximately 3 months time, and hope to repeat it every 3 months after that.

Hi lads ,it went off like clockwork as per usual, top marks Athenry ac! really enjoyed this evening thanks ! psFast results too ! i seem to have been left out of the results?number3853 alan burke ,does this to me on purpose all the time :-)

In full agreement with all the above sentiments. From my non-running (unfortunately!) spectator's perspective it was a very enjoyable evening. Kudos to Athenry AC for their organisational efforts and all the athletes who participated. It's rare that you get a true "one size fits all" running event, but in the magic mile, I think that's exactly what is on offer.
