ENTRY PROCEDURE Due to safety and logistical concerns we are left with no option but to limit the numbers that can be allowed participate in the Ballycotton ‘10’ 2007. For this reason we are imposing a limit of approximately 3,000 entries which should give an actual figure of around 2,000 competitors on the day – the maximum we feel that can be catered for in relative comfort (for both runners and organisers). The following is the entry procedure that has been decided on - 1) People apply for forms during month of November by sending a SAE to: Ballycotton Running Promotions, Ballycotton, Co. Cork.

Board has restructured it’s Senior Track & Field Championships and has made it into a 3 day open series commencing on Thursday May 10th. This is an excellent opportunity for some low-key early season competition. Entries are invited from all athletes aged 16 and over. Athletes from outside Galway are strongly encouraged and very welcome. Masters category also.

The fourth in the Galway May 5km Series will take place on Tuesday May the 22nd next in Loughrea. This will be the first time that Loughrea AC have hosted one of these events, but with such a rich heritage of road racing in the town we're absolutely assured of another great evening's running. Loughrea have forwarded on the following arrangements; Registration will take place in the Temperance Hall on Barrack Street commencing at 7.00pm. The start and finish of the race will be at the junction of Old Galway Road and Coscorrig Crescent Road.
