Gee's Waterside Half Marathon Back on Track The details of the Gee's Waterside Half Marathon in Derry are now available through the official website www.derrycity.gov.uk/halfmarathon. Celebrating its 26th year, this year's event is set to take place on Saturday 8th September. The ever-popular four mile road race in Killimor, Co.Galway has been fixed for Sunday the 9th of September at 1:30pm. This is one of the most popular fixures on the Galway racing calendar each year and regularly attracts a strong field of runners from outside the county. Organisers Thomas and Mary Porter make a great contribution to athletics in the county this being just one of the many athletics related projects they involve themselves in each year. A one-mile junior run (Under 15's) will take place before the senior race at 1:00pm. Entry on the day.
