What a difference ten years makes!
Some of the baby faces in the above photos will be leading the way on Saturday in helping the club to celebrate 10 successful years on the roads and around the Fields of Athenry.
Make sure you clear your schedule on Saturday to join in the celebrations.
 
9am - 10 year anniversary celebration Saturday run - let's get as many people as possible out!
As part of the race launch we're going to grab some pictures down around the stone arch.

NOTE:  Fit4Life run will leave at 9am this Saturday.

 
After the run - from 10am onwards there will be tea/ coffee and scones/ toast for all runners at the Raheen Woods hotel (courtesy of Athenry AC).
 
 
7:30pm - Fields of Athenry race launch in the Fields Bar - race launch and photos with race director and sponsors
 
8pm - Fields Bar - a special end of year/ 10 year anniversary party. 
There will be a slide show; some reminiscing about the adventures of the last 10 years, and some awards to mark some of the happenings since the revival of the club in 2002!
There will also be some spot prizes and finger food.  Oh, and a giant cake...
