COPE Galway launches ‘Coole Runnings’

COPE Galway has launched their ‘Coole Runnings 5k Trail Run’, which will take place at Coole Park on 18th of September 2010 at 10am. Speaking at the launch last Tuesday morning, Pamela O’Hanlon, COPE Galway, said “This run is a wonderful opportunity for the public to enjoy the fabulous grounds of Coole Park with the trail taking participants through the tree-lined avenue, wood trail and walled garden.’’

Clifden Lifeboat 10k Race:

"With less than 3 weeks to go, the countdown has begun for the 3rd Clifden Lifeboat 10k This annual race is organised as a fundraiser for the Clifden Lifeboat, however sponsorship is not compulsory and organisers are inviting anyone interested in taking part to register for the race.

5k fun run/walk this Sunday August 22nd starting at the north mall Westport at 4.30pm (entries taken at a hut beside O’gradys from 3.30pm)
This is an accurately measured 5k and goes through Westport House.
Nice flat, fast course.
Only €5 entry. Prizes and Spot-Prizes
 

Grange 10k Road Race is a well established race in the North Sligo village of Grange. The course is a very fast one, with good pb potential. All are welcome with registration taking place from 12 noon in the Sports Complex in Grange, the race will start at 1pm. The race starts and finishes in the village, with refreshments in the Sports Complex afterwards, as well as prize giving with prizes in the usual categories.

We are delighted to announce that the Boston Scientific Maree 5k Race, in aid of COPE Galway, has been rescheduled.
 
The race will now take place on Wed, Sept 8th at 6:45pm.

The 1 mile race has been a classic distance for years, yet you don't get too many chances to RACE a mile and find out your real PB.

So it's time to put that right.

Westaro/Balla 10k details announced

Plans have just been announced for the 18th annual Westaro
mini-marathon also known as the Balla 10k.

This year's event will be held on Saturday evening July 24th at 7
pm.
