This very popular race has built up a great reputation over a very short time and we are told by Race Director, Paul Mac Donagh, that this year's event will be well up there on the terrific success that was last year's!

Hartnett Physical Therapy is proud to announce that it is organising the first ‘barefoot’ road race in Ireland!
The 5km and 10km event will be held in Ballinrobe on Sunday, 11th March. A great chance for beginners to test their fitness levels in the 5km event, those aspiring to do a half marathon to add to their training with a 10km time trial, or elite athletes to get a PB in either event!
Prizes for runners in minimalist footwear like Vibram Fivefingers and the first runner in 'traditional' runners.
Same format as previous years, aside from minor tweaks. A minor tweak we are making this year is (despite the misprint on the poster), we won't be having a mixed team event on the day this year. Though fun, it didn't really work and this year the team event will be the standard first past the post Male/Female teams.
Anyhow there is the blurb:
- Fast, flat route
- Closed roads
- Prizes and category prizes
- incorporating Galway AAI 10-mile championships
- Tech T-Shirts for first 500 entrants
- Tasty food
