Word reaches us that Gary Doherty (almost) took Inishbofin by storm last Saturday when he finished in second place in the Croi Inishboffin Half Marathon. He reportedly completed the course in 1:33. I haven't been able to round up full results yet and so I don't yet know who beat our Gary to the line. Mr.Doherty is of course a previous winner of this event back in 2007 and if I have the technology working correctly you should be able to view his moment of glory from that year below. For this year's action just replay the scene over in your head with some scoundrel a couple of strides ahead of him.
