Paul Hession finally broke the Irish 200m record this weekend in Sheffield.

He's been very close in the last while, and had beaten the time but the times were not wind legal.

The tough opposition in Sheffield brought out the best in him, and he finished 4th in 20.44

Its worth noting that the 1st and 2nd place have run 19.75 and 19.76 before.

The last man in the race has run sub 10 for 100m, and he beat an Olympic medalist into 5th.

This was a top class field, no doubt about it.
