Ever wanted to do a triathlon but have been weak in one of the disciplines?

This event is for women who want to have a taster to see what it’s like or just want to test themselves over 3 different skills.

The biggest fear, even for experienced triathletes is the swim section. The swim in Loughrea is very sheltered, clear water and very shallow. There will be loads of help on the swim section with plenty of support in the water. There will be free training sessions to prepare you for the swim or getting changed once you have done the swim. (You can even stand during swim leg, but don’t tell anyone!)

Training for triathlons is a great way to cross train and stay injury free from all the running we do. It will strengthen muscles that you would not normally use.

The distance will be 300m swim, 6km cycle & 2 km run.
