The 10th Annual Mayo AC Road Race League for 2008 has just been confirmed. Mayo AC Chairman Michael McGrath, has consulted with various clubs and organisations around the county, to put together the biggest race schedule in the history of the league. Nine races will take place between May and December. Once again this year the league is sponsored by C&C Cellular.

The race schedule is:

1. Ballyhaunis 8k, Monday 5th May (Bank Holiday) @ 1pm.

2. Carramore 10k, Saturday 17th May @ 6pm.

3. Claremorris 5 mile, Saturday 28th June @ 6pm.

4. Balla 10k, Saturday 26th July @ 7pm.

5. Swinford AC 5 mile, Sunday 3rd August.

6. Ballina AC 10k, Sunday 14th September.

7. 4 mile race, date and venue to be confirmed.

8. Hollymount Road Races, Sunday 9th November.

9. Westport AC 5k, Sunday 28th December.

Final league positions will be decided on the best score from 6 of the races. Full Road League rules and prize structure will be similar to last year and will be announced shortly.
