Galway Senior T&F Series - Day 3 Results

The Galway Senior Track & Field Series wound up with a flourish last night (Thursday) with some outstanding action. Highlights of Day 3 included a highly competitive senior men's 400m, an excellent series of jumps from former Moldovan national high jump champion Igor Muntean, and a top class discus competition with the top 2 from last Sundays AAI Games battling for top honours.

4x400 medallists on Day 2

May 2007 may well have been the busiest month ever in Galway adult athletics circles and what better way to bring the month to a close than by getting down to Dangan this Thursday evening for some great competition at the third and final day of the Galway Senior Track & Field Series.

For those of you suffering withdrawal symptoms with the end of the phenomenally successful May 5k Series why not try some track running. There is a 3000m scheduled for the Ladies with 5000m for the men.

Day 2 Galway Senior Track & Field Round Up & Results

Another thoroughly enjoyable Thursday evening in Dangan and for the second time we got lucky with the weather. Really tight finishes in both 1500m races with exciting battles for honours down the home straight, while both 200m races saw battles all the way to the line.

The video camera at the finish was invaluable to help tie up the
few loose ends from last Tuesday evening.

Hopefully everyone is now correctly identified and recorded.

Please let me know if there are any remaining problems. I was
able to square some of the circles but not quite all of them
perfectly.
