The results of the 2nd annual Portumna 100km/50km/Marathon/5KM are attached.  I am sorry not to have made it out to support a number of Athenry AC athletes, in particular 'tiny' Ed Egan who is in fantastic form at present, but I can't be everywhere at once. 

I am very gratified to note that a neighbour's child, Mike Cunningham, took the 50KM victory.  Good to see that Cappamore are able to produce more than the odd good rugby (or hurling) player.

Congratulations to the organisers on what sounds like a very well organised and supported event.  It's one that is certain to grow over the years, as word spreads about the superb 5KM loop in Portumna Forest Park.
