The committee of the 'Run in the Woods' would like to thank everyone for their support in what was another very enjoyable day out. Many thanks to Vaughans for hosting us in the lounge for registration and refreshments. Thank you to Garda Mick McDermot for his assistance and guidance on the day. To Mick & all the crew at Coilte for allowing us to use this fabulous location. On the day we had numerous stewards who helped ensure things ran smoothly and to all of you a big thank you. Ensuring all our participants would be looked after was Kevin Tarpey and his fellow Civil defence crew, thank you for your professionalism. No race day is ever complete without photos to look back on and for that we thank John O'Connor, Eirephoto and indeed our own local John Williams of Ballyglunin Photo Studio for the coverage the provided of the days events. There's too many to mention but just to say to those who helped in the run up to the day and on the day itself... thank you! You helped pack goodie bags, hung signs, marked out tracks, collected trophies, made tea, manned the water stations, cleaned up, manned registration desks and lots more. A massive shout out to James Lundon from Athenry AC who was a constant source of support & good advice and to Andrew Talbot who provided the official race timing & finish line service for us. Also, we have our sponsors whom we can't thank enough. Some of whom are Galway Water, Unislim, McSharry's Pharmacy, Supermacs. As funds are still coming in we will update our website accordingly with names of sponsors.
 
Finally, to all the runners & walkers who came to support our event we thank you. This is an annual fundraiser not only for the club but also for our chosen charities who this year are the Abbeyknockmoy Benevolent Fund and Cystic Fibrosis. Again, as funds are still coming in we don't yet have figures but once confirmed a cheque presentation will be organised.
