The first weekend of the Juvenile Track and Field All Ireland finals were held last weekend in Tullamore. Athenry AC can be very proud of all the athletes who competed and performed well to win three bronze medals.

Two medals were won in the high jump by Mathew Treacy and Grace Cahill, Grace also jumped a new PB in the long jump to finish fifth. The other medal was won by Stephen Coleman in the long jump which was a great achievement as he was carrying an injury in the finals, Stephen also finished 6th in the sprint final, only for the injury he would probably have won a least a silver medal in the long jump to go with the gold he won in the indoor finals and would have had a great chance of a medal in the sprint final.
