A soft day in Carnmore saw a total of 204 runners go to the line for the 3rd. Annual Carnmore Annual Turkey Trot. Competition was very keen with Matt Bidwell of GCH taking the honours in the mens race in a swift 16mins 01 secs and the Ladies winner by a good margin was Emer O'Leary from MSB. All the age categories were keenly contested.

On behalf of Carnmore HC I would like to take this oppoutunity to thank all the athletes, who came from far and near, for their participation and without whom the event would not have been so successful.

Thanks also to all who helped out on the day and gave of their time namely, the club officers, stewards on the course, the catering committee who put on a very good spread, Bernie and Edel who were of great assistance at the finish and James Lundon for his assistance throughout the day.

To the Gardai in Oranmore also a big thank you and to SUPERVALU in Oranmore for their assistance with the turkeys.

Prize winners of same should collect them from SUPERVALU on the week before Christmas.
