The Athenry AC woman did the club proud in Corofin last Sunday, 6 November, with a 1/2/3 result.

Deirdre Brophy followed up her sub-40 in Carna with a pretty much identical run over the new 8KM course.  Yvonne Fehilly kept her teammate honest with a superb near-32 (PB?) run.  Bernie Mulryan made a welcome re-appearance, taking the W50 prize, though she was also third woman home on the road.  Fiona Doughan was first F40 and 5th woman home, which Enda Munnelly was blessed amongst all those fast AAC women breaking 35!

The weather stayed dry for the large crowd who turned out for the 6th year of this lovely Corofin AC event.
