The Athenry Community Games & Parish Sports will take place on Sunday the 2nd April 2017 at 1:30pm in the Carnaun Pitch.
 
Children from Athenry are welcome to take part: 1st & 2nd place in all Community Games events will qualify to represent Athenry at the Galway Community Games County Finals in June.
 
There is a Senior Men 3000M & Senior Womens 1500M race to start proceedings.  A Perpetual Cup for the first Man & Women from Athenry Parish or member of Athenry AC is to be competed for.
