Seamus Power had a comfortable margin of victory in winning the Clare People 10k at the weekend with eleven seconds to spare over Donal O'Callaghan. Eight Athenry AC members took part in the race namely, Ann Carter, Peter Lowney, Aileen McNamara, Maria Hehir, Breege McGrath, Pauline Murray, Pauleen Mulqueen and Iain Shaw.

Unfortunately I had to pull out of the race at the last minute due to family illness but hope to do this one next year.

Congrats on a great website - by far the best online resource for runners in Ireland in my opinion.
The Clare 10k results aren't available anywhere else, not even on the official website so thanks again for publishing them

I wish to congradulate the organisers for the Clarepeople10k last saturday - it was obvious a lot of work had gone into putting this well run event together ! WELL DONE
