Quiet country roads in East Galway 5. What’s your favourite event or race each year? Only running for 2 years so I haven’t built up a huge list but I do love the atmosphere at the Streets of Galway. I’m pretty sure Dublin City Marathon will be on my to do list every year as well. 6. What annoys you most at races? Poor organisation. There are more and more races coming on stream recently and the level of organisation in some of them leaves a lot to be desired. Thankfully its only a small number. 7. What race, that you haven't yet run, would you most like to take part in? NYC Marathon 8. What was your best-ever running performance? Connemara Half Marathon 2010 9. What was your worst-ever running performance? Dublin City Marathon 2010 10. What's the strangest thing that you've ever seen on a training run? A car spinning out of control into a ditch on ice. Luckily the driver was fine afterwards. 11. Favourite piece of running gear? My Garmin 305. 12. Who would you most enjoy beating in a sprint for the line? Anyone. I never seem to have a good sprint finish. I couldn’t beat my shadow with the sun in my face. 13. What was the best bit of training advice you were ever given? Keep varying your training 14. In ten years time will you still be running? Hopefully. 15. If for some reason you were told you could never run again, how do you think you'd react? Disappointed but once I still had my health I would get over it. 16. Have you ever been bitten by a dog while running? No 17. Have you ever had to stop for an emergency 'Paula' during a race?
