What is noteworthy (for me anyhow) is that a good friend of AAC and a well known character on the road race circuit here in Galway, ran sub-40 for the first time ever: Gabriel Gardiner of neighbouring club, Craughwell AC, and native of Ardrahan.

A sincere and heartfelt congratulations. It really puts it up to the rest of us who haven't broken through this barrier yet.
