The 7th Annual Run Go West Ballyhaunis 8k race takes place on Sun 28th Sept at 3pm. It is the fifth race in Mayo AC Move2Improve Series sponsored by C&C Cellular.

Entry (15 euro, 5 for children) from 1pm on day at the Rugby Club race HQ, Doctor's Road. The event is open to all - run, jog or walk.

This year it is organised in conjunction with Ballyhaunis Community School. Parents are using this event to raise necessary school funds. There is an added attraction for anyone associated with the school to take part - students, parents, teachers are all welcome.:

Prizes:  first three men and women, and category prizes for first two Men o40/50/60/70, and Women o40/ 45/,55, Junior M/W:1st, plus spot prizes and medals for all finishers.
