A small yet strong field showed up for the 2010 running of the  Galway Track and field  10000m race last night in Dangan ,



 



The race was won by Matt Bidwell of GCH  in a time of 32.45, just ahead of Paul Mcnamara, Athenry AC,  who is just returning to action following his recent Cork marathon.

Matt is running very well since his recent arrival in Ireland, and is a welcome addition to the competitive circuit.



Brian O Connor , also of Athenry AC , was third in 34.33, and is showing signs of a return to his best form .
