Athenry sprint star Paul Hession has been rewarded for a season replete with national records and world-class competition with qualification for the World Athletics Final in Stuttgart, Germany. Paul's race is on Sunday at 03:50pm German time, which is 02:50pm Irish time.

With all of Paul's adventures this year it's possible to loose track of just how amazing it is to have an Athenry runner competing at this level. Paul has worn the club colours with such distinction at national and international level throughout 2007, let's hope that he can round off this fantastic year of sprinting with yet another good run.
