Please find attached the official result from the first North
East Galway/Moylough 10KM road race which took place in and
around this North East Galway village on Sunday, 16 October.

Congratulations to Linda Cummins (mellodyl2003 at yahoo.ie or
087-2801935) and her hard-working committee on this successful
event.

It was a very successful race for Athenry AC:

* First three in the Senior Women's race with Sinead Foran,
Sinead Brody and Bernie Mulryan finishing in a heap.

* Conor Dolan scored a massive PB to task second place in the
Senior Men's race.

* Frank Burke officially broke 40 for the first time.

* Tony Killarney won the M50 with a sub-41 time.

Well done to all six and to the others from the club who were
very conspicious in their Athenry AC singlets.
