Galway's adult athletes convened a productive get-together last year which resulted in, amongst other things, the highly successful May 5k Series.

It is felt around the county that it would be worthwhile to stage a repeat of this meeting which will give adults involved in athletics in Galway the opportunity to discuss the development of our sport in County Galway.

With this in mind a meeting of adult athletes has been scheduled for this Wednesday, March 7th at the Quality Hotel in Oranmore. Meeting starts at 8:30pm. The meeting will be run along similar lines to last years event. Everyone involved or interested in adult athletics in Galway is encouraged to attend.
