Stretch...........!

This week's contribution comes from Philip Magnier. I don't think there's a runner amongst us who stretches as much as we should and so I suppose it's important to get the best out of whetever time we do devote to this activity. Philip is a big fan of AIS (Active Isolated Stretching) as proscribed by Gerard Hartmann.

In sending on the link Philip said, "This is a link on the Trinity AC website which brings you through Gerard Hartmann's simple stretching exercises. They used to be on his own website but I can't find them there anymore. I have found them really brilliant for muscle injuries, specifically, the outside muscle on the upper leg (#3 on the Web page), and the calf/ ankle (#9, 10).
