That time of year has arrived again, with the Winter fast approaching, where the staff and students of Colaiste Naomh Eoin invite you all to join us for the third running of the "Inis Iron Meain".

Last years event went incredibly well. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody involved for making it the great success that it was through your support and participation. We hope to step things up a gear again this year and make the “Inis Iron Meain 06” even better still.

The date for this year’s event will be,

Saturday the 18th of November,

The race will be run in much the same format as the last two years with possibly a number of different turns to be included along the length of the challenging course.

Due to unprecedented interest it appears that the numbers will have to be limited again this year. It has been decided to limit the entries to the first 120 complete subscriptions.

In order to assist with making sure the event is as efficiently run as possible, all applications will have to be made before the closing date for entries of Monday the 13th of November.

The excitement and buzz on the Island leading up to, during and following the event last year was incredible. I hope to see you all once again this year to make it even better again.
