There has already been a steady stream of early entries for this year's Proactive Fields of Athenry 10k , Road Race which takes place on the 26th of December next.

Organisers are very keen that as many people as possible pre-enter the race to avoid delays both at registration and in producing a race result afterwards. If you are thinking of joining us for the race on the 26th of December next, the organising committee would very much like to have your entry in advance. An entry form for the race can be printed down from this site. Only pre-entries will be guaranteed the race souvenir which this year will be a specially comissioned 'Fields of Athenry 10k' Wooly Hat.

Last year over 270 people took on the challenge of running, jogging or walking 6.2 miles around the beautiful countryside that surrounds Athenry.
