Athenry AC sprint star Paul Hession will take on some of the best sprinting talent the world has to offer over the unusual distance of 300m in Ostrava (Czech Republic) tomorrow the 12th of June. Paul's race is previewed on the event website here http://www.zlatatretra.cz/default.asp?lng=1&sektion=a&page=447 The field will include US star Jeremy Wariner who will target the unofficial world record for the seldom raced distance. Paul McKee, also of Ireland, will also take part in the race.
Other Irish athletes in action at the meeting include Michelle Carey (400m Hurdles), Alistair Cragg (5,000m), Derval O'Rourke (100m Hurdles) and David Gillick (400m).
