Paul Hession capped off a solid season, with a creditable performance in the World Championship semi final over 200m.
It was never going to be easy running out of lane 8, and in the end 20:48 was good enough for 10th fastest in the world, matching last years performance in Berlin.
Speaking directly after the semi-final, Paul was understandably disappointed, but like he says, we know he's ready to take the next step in World Athetics.
All in all, it was a fantastic night for Irish sprinting, with Derval O Rourke and David Gillick qualifying for their finals, and O Rourke producing a stunning National record for 4th in the World.
