Hi Miles,the race starts outside the Claregalway Corporate Park and finishes inside it.Its right turns all the way.Theres a fairly steep climb about halfway through but the last kilometre is mostly downhill.The Claregalway C.P. is about 500m outside the village on the Oranmore road.The race h.q. is at Claregalway Leisure Centre which is alongside the race route.There will be parking at both the Corporate Park and Leisure Centre if you need it.
What's the craic? Did we all get out of the wrong side of the bed today ? Of course the race is on. At this moment literally hoards of crack Claregalway volunteers are going through a rigorous pre-race training regimen so that they'll be at a finely tuned pitch of perfection to facilitate this race tonight.
Not every club has a website to publish or re-publish detailed information on their race, but if you took part last year I can tell you that the route is much the same. If you didn't, I can confirm that it's a big 5km loop starting and finishing at the industrial park. There was full information on all the races in everyone's envelope which they got at their first race, and the poster above gives more details.
Can we all just take a deep breath and start from the begining again ?
