Word has reached the newsdesk of AthenryAC.com that clubman Paul McNamara was second in the Cork City Marathon this afternoon in 2:30:15 while fellow clubmate Jane-Ann Healy was fourth woman home in 3:04:16 (a PB by some 13 minutes !!!!).  Congratulations to both on their achievements.

Mick Rice and Ray O'Connor both finished in their customary times, 2:59:47 and 3:45:30 :-).

Hi there Congratulations Paul fantastic run. Congratulation to you to Jane Ann G what a great day for Athenry Runners in Cork! Mick your always up there with the best and Ray well done you two after all you only did 10 marathons in ten days two weeks ago!!! What a great achievement for you all enjoy the night out because I am sure you will all be up early for that little morning after run just 10 or 15 miles lots of love and best wishes Maire Treasa Beatty.
