It's cross-country time again and this years Galway cross-country championships will be held in Bushfield, Loughrea on Saturday the 9th of October 2010 at 01:00pm.

The club intends to put it's best foot forward at these races and so we need as many pairs of (hairy) legs out in club colours as possible. These races are good fun and also a great way for the uninitiated to dip their toe into this type of running. The race distances are managable for almost anyone with the men running over 8,000m and the women over 5,000m. Please let the club captains know asap that you're available to take part so that we can get your entry in in good time.

As the adult races are being run off seperately from the juveniles this year, the entire event should take no longer than an hour to run off and so shouldn't disrupt anyone's weekend too much.

When: Saturday the 9th October at 01:00pm

Where: Bushfield, Loughrea

How: Just let Brian Bruton (Men's Captain) or Valerie Glavin (Women's Captain) know asap that you'll give it a lash and they'll look after the rest.

You Know It Makes Sense :-)
