The Pole Vault workshop scheduled for this Saturday December 11th in Athlone IT has been postponed. After discussions with AIT we feel that the imminent thaw will not be sufficient to clear the facility of frozen snow and it would be dangerous to proceed with this event. It will be re-scheduled for a date in the new year.

An introductory Pole Vault workshop for athletes and coaches will be held in Athlone IT on Saturday December 11th from 11am to 2:30pm. This workshop will be led by National Event Coach David Doherty. Coaches and athletes with an interest in pole vault are encouraged to attend. No previous experience is necessary.

Venue: Athlone IT – Register in sportshall

Cost: €5 per athlete or coach

It would be advisable to bring a packed lunch. Dress for physical activity and for possible inclement weather.

Poles will be provided.
