New Galway Athletics Website Launched

The Galway County Board of the AAI have recently revamped and relaunched their website (www.GalwayAthletics.com). The site now contains much useful and up to date information on Athletics in the county at all levels. Mike Tobin of Craughwell is the driving force behind this initiative and he is to be applauded for his Trojan efforts in getting this initiative off the ground. The site now contains details of all of the cross-country races for both seniors and juveniles for the forthcoming season and is very well worth a visit.

New AAI Development Officer for the West

The Galway County Board met last Tuesday in Loughrea and along with the many items dealt with on the night the board had a chance to meet with our very own Paul McNamara who was recently appointed as Development Officer by the AAI for the West of Ireland. The board wished Paul all the best in his new position. Paul can be reached at [email protected].
