The rain eased off in time for the well organised 14th annual road race held by Tuam ac at 2:30pm race on 21/01/18. Race entry included a free goodie bag item which this year was a morf neck gaiter. 226 people took part including 14 Athenry AC club members. The race was dominated by North Sligo AC who took five of the top six male positions and the top two female positions. There was also plenty of excellent post race refreshments available afterwards inc hot soup and scones.
