Entry closed!

Entry to the 2009 Fields of Athenry 10km is now closed.

Sorry to anybody who missed out this year, but we have to limit entries to have a safe, well-organised race.

No entries will be accepted on the day. We do not operate a waiting list.

Entry to the Juvenile race is still open, and entries to that race will be accepted on the day.

are race numbers ent out in the post or collected on the day?

Race numbers are to be collected on the day of the race.  Collect them at the Presentation College in Athenry, there will be plenty of signs pointing you where to go.  Race starts at 11 so best get there early to pick up your number and get your warm up in.

Thanks, was wondering about that!
warm up will be pretty relaxed as just using the race for a run around after xmas day, no interest in tryin to run a pb on st stephens day!! A nice leisurley 37 mins will do, will leave the 34s for another day!

Theres No hope for the soft sligo lads - we ll b out trainin xmas day twice ... ye may as well give it out now. gch all the way.

The GCH lads seem to have forgotten who won in Hollymount !!
EASSAHH EAASSAAHHH

If you need an address to post the prizes to in Sligo just let us know

sorry lads, the team prize will be coming back to ennis this year!!!

Damn, i hadnt considered team duties!! Not sure what the boys are plannin but my plan was to peak for the national novice championships and then have a nice easy three weeks after that with a few events as a bit of fun! Really looking forward to the 5k in sligo in a santa hat!! Seems we can never have the chance to relax and just enjoy running, better keep myself in 35 minute shape at least if there is a team title at stake, seen as we handled GCH in Hollymount would hate to hand ye an easy victory!, although im sure on home turf there is a bit of pride at stake!!

Hi,

I missed the registration cutoff. Is there a newsletter or mailing list I can join so I don't miss next years race?

?

Hi Ben,

We keep the website as up-to-date as we can, so that's your best bet!
